Labor Announces More Health Funding

Labor is attempting to woo voters, by announcing funding for more emergency doctors and nurses.

It also plans to offer 1 thousand scholarships, for nurses wanting to receive emergency training, with the first 300 to be rolled out at the start of the new year.

Speaking from Tasmania today, Prime Minister Julia Gillard says the money will create thousands more medical places.
